I may say "many many thanks" for the organisation of this event! I felt very happy, as I drove today back to home and thought this hours about the last two days.
Some of you had a very hard stress about moderation, putting arena-door to close or open with man-power, doing startlist, calculating points and repairing the eye-catch-bots.
Sorry for the invalidity with the german TV-team. I thought, It was planed for only 1 day. Three dominate TV-persons are allocating many "space" in front of the arena.
Very effectiv was the use of the 2 TV-monitors . I was surprised on Friday about this. In my opinion, the public in the third to 10. row were very happy about this.
New for me was the sound for countdown and so on. Sounds very professional!
On sunday evening, when desintegrating the arena, Jonas, Ralf an me had a visit of a man. It seems that he belongs to the organisation-team of FACTs. He told us, that days ago he had no idea about the fighting robots. Actually during some fights, he had a look to the stand and was very excited. Now, he pleased us to be at the next FACTs again. (As we are only guests, we guided him to Nils.
)The two days, I did some photos. But not about the fights, because there was many video-equipment. Normally bots in the working benches, the arena in total view or ..... the cosplays.
. With Stef I build a video documentation about building the rubber-wires. The pictures on CD, I will send to Jeroen and Babeth. If somebody else has interest, please contact me.Thank you for beeing guest at your competition.
