Cim2 en Cim4 motoren.

Post by leo-rcc » Sun Sep 21, 2003 5:47 pm

Big Cheese Robot Co.
Type CIM4 Motor

4 Pole heavy duty motor originally rated at 24 volts and 100 amps.

The following ratings are for use in robots for 5 minute bouts
These are based on test bench and practical tests in Wheely Big Cheese

Torque at the max running current of 150 amps is 10 Nm
Max short term accelerating current 200 amps
Stall torque 20 Nm @ 340 amps @ 24 volts
Internal resistance 0.07 Ohms.

When running from a 24 volt supply and loaded to 100 amps the output power is 1900 watts.
At 36 volts and 100 amps the output power is 2900 watts (3.9 HP)
At 60 volts and 100 amps the power output is 5300 watts (7.1 HP)
No load RPM @24 volts 4100, No load RPM @36 volts 6150
@48 volts 8100, @60 volts 10000 rpm.
No load current 2 amps max.

Available as 24, 36, 48, or 60 volt versions.
Reccomended speed controller 4QD 150/24/36/48 volt.
Weight 4.1 Kg, Diameter 100 mm length 175 mm
Cost 24 volt version £125, 36 volt version £150
48 volt version £175, 60 volt version £200

Price includes fitted suppression capacitors.

The “Tuned up” version as used in Wheely Big Cheese is available to order. It is fitted with larger, higher current brushes and heavier connecting wires that reduce the internal resistance to 0.055 ohms.It can be run at 300 amps giving an output power of 2600 watts @24 volts or 7050 watts (9.5HP) @36 volts. Reccomended speed controller 4QD 300/24/36.

I now have 3 sorts of T axles,
1, the original type T

2, type TE, which is a later version type of the type T, is slightly lighter, with a ratio of 18:1

3,Type TT as TE, but 19.7:1

They are all the same price, £60 each modified.

The type T is hard to get now, the manufacturers have replaced it with the type TT and TE.
