BatteryMINDer Charger/Maintainer/Conditioner is the first of a new generation "Computer-On-A-Chip" technology. It conditions "sulphated" batteries as well as automatically charging any type of 6 or 12 volt storage battery without ever over-charging. Dubbed the "charger with a brain", it is believed to be the first charger of its kind to reverse the primary cause of early battery failure known as "sulphation". How BatteryMINDer solves battery problems:
A simple press of the button starts the fully automatic de-sulphation process. The battery is then able to reach its full level of charge without excessive heat generation. Water never needs to be replaced while batteries are being maintained with BatteryMINDer as the unit never "boils out" the electrolyte. The unit plugs directly into a standard wall outlet (or extension cord) eliminating the need to disconnect the battery from its normal use location.
The Underwriters Lab (UL) and CSA LISTED BatteryMINDer has both Charge/ Power On as well as Battery Condition / Polarity indicators. The unit will reject a "shorted cell" battery while ensuring a full charge to all others, including deep cycle marine, gel, and maintenance free automotive batteries. het werkt waarschijnlijk, het zal je probleem ook wel oplossen, maar is wel een dure oplossing. Koop er een setje accu's bij en je bent goedkoper uit...
het is een dingetje van 50 euro. en ik heb nu 4 kobe's liggen die ik vergeten was uit de kast te halen en die daar dus al bijna een jaar liggen, en 2 oude rolstoel dingen van 27 ah voor testen die ook slecht zijn.
Ik heb wel eens een schakelingetje in de elektuur zien staan die het zelfde deed. Het helpt wel geloof ik. Maar tot 100% lijkt me onwaarschijnlijk. We hebben wel genoeg cyclons om het te proberen
Mijn Anderson en Albright leverancier heeft een "Macbatt" unit staan, hetzelfde idee, maar dan voor vorkliftaccu's 500Ah 60V dingen enzo. Volgens Fons(eigenaar en Elektro-ingenieur van het bedrijf) zijn uitleg is het handig als je niet onmiddelijk een nieuwe accu kan hebben wegens levertermijn,of om toch effe verder te kunnen, maar het is zeker geen wondermiddel om verkl*te accu's nieuw te maken.
Maar om een accu te reviven voor een gevecht of 10 denk ik het wel te kunnen inzetten. Live gevehten dat is, want in de wars is het toch belangrijk alleen de beste spullen te hebben.
